Alloy steel tubes are used in hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking,” to transport hydraulic fluids and proppants into the wellbore. The tubes are used in high-pressure pumping systems, and must be able to withstand the high pressures and abrasive conditions encountered during the fracking process.
