310S Stainless Steel Tube is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent high temperature properties and superior weldability and ductility. It can be used for intermittent or continuous service at temperatures up to 1150 degC and has a chromium and nickel content which offers resistance against oxidation, sulfidation, and other forms of hot corrosion. Furthermore, this alloy has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance as well as being less vulnerable to sensitisation.

310S Stainless Steel Pipes are commonly used in petroleum refineries, burners, tube hangers, food-processing equipment and steam boilers due to their exceptional resistance to oxidation and sulfidation. As such, they make them perfect for heat treatment and chemical processing applications where both tempering salts and cyaniding salts can be tolerated; making them suitable for salt water environments.
These products come in both welded and seamless form, manufactured under quality standards that have gained acceptance across various sectors. They come in an assortment of sizes and shapes such as round, square, rectangular, pan cake, hydraulic, ‘U’ shape and coiled.
Welded Stainless Steel 310S Tubes are easy to weld using any standard welding method. Before use, these pipes can be annealed to reduce internal stress. Hot work methods may also be employed after uniform heating of 2150 degrees Fahrenheit (1117 degrees Celsius).
Cold Working Stainless Steel 310S Tubing is easily drawn, headed, upset, and stamped for cold working applications. Additionally, it can be annealed to reduce stress and enhance corrosion resistance.
