Q235B Carbon Steel Pipe is a type of steel pipe made from strip steel coils as its raw material and welded using automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding. It boasts high mechanical strength and excellent tensile resistance, making it suitable for various fields such as water supply engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation system construction etc..
Low carbon structural steel with moderate carbon content, good forming ability, and good overall performance – makes it suitable for ordinary use. This material is typically rolled into thin plates, wire rods, steel bars, welded pipes and other parts and finds application in bridges, buildings, factories, automobiles, vehicles and various welded structures.

Q235’s mechanical properties are similar to those of 20#, SS400, and A36; however, due to its lower tensile strength and yield strength it is often used instead of these materials in actual application processes.
Q235 offers more comprehensive mechanical properties compared to A36 and SS400, such as ease of welding, less segregation problems, and no hot cracks during welding. Furthermore, Q235 can withstand corrosion and rust without forming large pits in reinforced concrete structures.
Q235 steel is a widely-used carbon structural steel. With tensile strengths of 350-500 MPa and yield strengths of 235 MPa, this grade can be divided into A, B, C and D grades; A, B and C being of higher quality than D grade. Q235 steel typically finds use in welding steel structures.
